I am excited about 5e. I do wish their was less animosity when people talk about other editions. I won’t dog on other editions, but I will boast my love of 4e. (^_^) 

It’s all about preference. I like 4e because of the variety of attacks and skills available. I do hope they bring the spell list in 5e though, or something similar. *crosses fingers*

Shorrin. My half-elf druid for my weekend game. An agent to the Lady of the Woods, he spends his time watching over the border of the Winter Court to make sure they don’t cross into the Lady’s lands. Often times he finds himself being aloof, usually playing with his close friend and pet, Symin, one of the last few windfish. Capable in combat, he is on the front lines, protecting his allies and tending to their wounds as best he can. He’s arrogant but humble when it comes to understanding his role in the universe. He also likes human food, especially sour fruits.

I saw this on /r/rpg a while back and remembered being really upset with myself that I never thought to translate fantasy scenes into actual battle maps.

Such a brilliant yet simple idea.

Thanks! It’s not as flattering in real life, but it’s foam board cut out and painted with acrylic paint. There’s actually another half I plan to finish tomorrow morning, since it’s actually a road that was ripped in two by the shifting earth. The duo of heroes are supposed to travel to a land where the whole place was blighted with magic. This is the road to the chaos. They will also venture into a taxidermy, if they pass a skill challenge then they can rest in heaven (church), and then finally the heart of the chaos and destroy it. Not sure what the last map will be but I am hoping to make a bloody hill to signify the living insanity that twisted the land. Too much time into a one shot (-_-)
